I, Gary Woolsey, started this business in 1989. I work out of my home in Arkoma, Oklahoma.

Though Gary's Drafting Service is a "side-business", I have professionally serviced the area for over 30 years providing custom plans to contractors and individuals as-well-as contract design and drafting to architects and engineers.

I've been a full-time commercial draftsman since 1986 and have remained employed as such to this day. I began my career hand-drafting for a structural engineering firm. In 1987 I took a drafting position with Planter's Peanuts in Fort Smith, Arkansas, where I worked for 7 years using AutoCad (computer-aided drafting software) to develop architectural, electrical, mechanical, civil and structural drawings as well as posters, graphs, forms, maps, commercial artwork, etc. After this I was hired by an architectural firm as a designer/draftsman and finally, after a short time spent as an engineer for a truss manufacturer, ended up in 1997 taking a position as an Engineering/AutoCad Technician for the largest civil firm in the area. I left them in 2016 to work from home in my current position as a Project Engineer for a Civil firm in Washington DC.
